"coOLEDs - "
The third belektro ideas competition is aimed at students in the fields of lighting -, product- , industrial - and communication design, architecture, interior design and lighting engineering at the invited universities, colleges and technical colleges.
TASK: design a portable / mobile lighting solution using Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs).
OBJECTIVE OF THE COMPETITION
To design a portable / mobile lighting solution using Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLEDs). We are looking for distinctive designs that are tailored to the specific parameters of OLEDs. The lighting solution should not only have a function, for instance to illuminate a workplace or living room, but should also be a »cool lighting object«, a »must have« for innovative technology and design loving persons. It should be possible to manifacture the design by reasonable means, the lighting solution should not be expensive to buy.

The application deadline is Friday, 20April 2012.
The deadline for submitting designs is Friday, 13 July 2012.
