New dates announced for belektro 2018: 6 to 8 November 2018
Berlin Trade Fair for Electrical Engineering to be held just under a month later than usual
Berlin, 20 June 2017 – The upcoming Berlin Trade Fair for Electrical Engineering is to be moved forward from October and will take place from 6 to 8 November 2018. Changing the dates was a topic of intense discussion with the commercial and non-commercial sponsors of the event, and they have now been jointly decided upon. Karel Heijs, director at Messe Berlin: “The new dates for belektro are even better suited to fulfilling the industry’s needs. At belektro 2016 we were already targeting specific audiences with individual products and services, and that is something we will increase. “
Klaus Jung, managing director of the Trade Association for Electro Installations (ZVEI): “Representatives of exhibiting companies want continuity at belektro and the new dates achieve just that. From now on we can be certain the dates will not overlap with the autumn school holidays in Berlin/Brandenburg. The dates in November as well as the weekday schedule from Tuesday to Thursday, which was introduced in 2016, mean that belektro is well equipped for the future.“
Constantin Rehlinger, managing director of the Berlin/Brandenburg Regional Guild Association of the Electrical Professions, also welcomed the change of dates: “Both the industry and wholesalers are delighted with the Trade fair for Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Lighting in the capital taking place in November.“
belektro will take place from 6 to 8 November 2018 at Berlin ExpoCenter City.
